LOUIS, Jan. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) announced today that its New Mexico subsidiary, Western Sky Community Care, has been awarded a statewide contract in New Mexico for the Centennial Care 2.0 Program. The new five-year contract is effective on January 19, 2018 and includes the option to renew for up to an additional three years. Calendar year 2018 will be a readiness year prior to enrolling members on January 1, 2019.
The state's current program, Centennial Care, provides integrated Medicaid managed care coverage, including long-term services and supports (LTSS) and behavioral health, to nearly 700,000 Medicaid members in the state.
