Centene Launches Innovative Leadership Program

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) announced today the unveiling of its pioneering leadership program, REACH (Readying Executives to Answer the Challenges of Healthcare).  The first of its kind in the country, REACH is a partnership between Centene, Trinity University of San Antonio, Texas, and Washington University in St. Louis. 

"Hand-picked executives with diverse healthcare roles will meet to discuss the future of the industry during four intense, week-long sessions," explained Carol Goldman, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Centene.  "The sessions will be held on a rotating basis amongst the three institutions."

As part of this week's kick-off, Centene and Trinity University co-hosted a daylong symposium in San Antonio, "The Future of Health Care 2014 and Beyond." Panelists included lawmakers and industry leaders from around the country.
