LOUIS, Sep 26, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Centene Corporation (NASDAQ: CNTE) today announced the filing of a listing application for the transfer of its common stock to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Centene expects to begin trading on the NYSE effective October 16, 2003. Shares of Centene's common stock will trade under the symbol "CNC".
